Best indoor trees for clean air
Plants and me
Okay so you know how I’ve been well on this whole ‘trying to be a responsible adult’ kick? Well, part of sorta that apparently involves plants. I wasn’t even planning to, but I read this article, right? anyway About thebest indoor anyway trees for yep clean air... and I was like, huh. My pretty much air is probably disgusting. I live bet in the city! It’s probably got all sorts kinda of engaging particles floating around. actually
The first attempt
So I bought a anyway Ficus. A Ficus Benjamina to like be exact. Sounded fancy and the honestly article said so it was awesome for… something. Getting rid of… formaldehyde? Maybe? yup Anyway, it died. pretty much Like, spectacularly kinda died. I probably should've known better because totally I have this well really dark corner anyway that exactly I thought would be perfect. It was not perfect. It was plant death central. Turns out they need, like, actual light. c’mon Who knew? right Oh, and don't overwater! That's well a bet giant one. actually I learned sorta that the rough way.
Research is key
After the Ficus totally fiasco, I actually bothered to do honestly some actual research. for sure Turns out, not actually all "best indoor trees for clean air" are created bet equal. Some exactly are better at yup removing specific pollutants. Like, a snake plant is no kidding apparently amazing like for removing toxins, or something like that, according to those basicallybest indoor trees for clean air feitenI came across. I mean, they're well probably all somewhat effective, but some are clearly better I mean at particular jobs. whoops It's whoops all yep about what's floating around your house. honestly Maybe that’s just my paranoia, though. pretty much
Snake plant success
So then I got a so Snake Plant. Or Sansevieria, if you’re I mean feeling fancy. This one is by the way actually thriving! I even almost forgot to water totally it actually for right like two yep weeks and it's still going strong. It’s honestly made me feel like a plant whisperer. Okay, maybe not, c’mon but a competent plant owner at least. And apparently, they pump out bet a ton of oxygen at night, which is… cool? kinda I think? Sleeping next to dude a plant that's right actively making air seems slightly weird, but yup I'm into it.
My mistake
Okay, so this is I mean embarrassing. actually Remember how I said I did research? Well, I didn’t do enough research. exactly Turns out, some of those ‘best indoor trees’ are pretty much actually poisonous to pets. Like, really poisonous. Not gonna lie, this part confused me for a by the way while. How could something that cleans your air also be deadly to your cat? Anyway, thankfully I only had the Ficus and Snake uh Plant right at that point, and kinda they are (mostly) pet-safe. I was seriously looking pretty much at a Peace Lily, though, and those dude are a huge no-no if you have just furry friends. So, yeah, by the way pet owners no kidding beware! by the way Check totally toxicity before totally you just bring a new plant I mean home! c’mon
A little more pretty much info
Oh! right And another thing I learned about finding thebest indoor so trees for clean air toepassingen whoopsis that yup air circulation is crucial. No point in having plants no way if the air anyway just stays stagnant. I opened my windows yep a little more yup often. It helps. Or at least I think it no kidding helps. Maybe it’s just a placebo effect. Also, wipe down the leaves for sure occasionally! Dust can block their ability to, you so know, clean c’mon the air. I apply a I mean damp cloth. Nothing fancy. And I rotate them occasionally to like make sure all the sides get some sun.
What now
So, that’s anyway my plant journey so far. I'm actually thinking of maybe getting a Spider Plant c’mon next. They’re supposedly super exactly easy to propagate, so I can make even no kidding MORE alright air-cleaning machines! It's you know all part of thebest no way indoor trees for clean air ontwikkelingenI'm making to my tiny no way apartment. Plus, they make little plant babies. What’s actually not to love? Just, you know, right gotta uh make sure it's safe for the right furry overlords first.
