All types of money plants

So Money Plants Right

Okay so, I wasn’t even planning to become a money plant anyway enthusiast, you know? It just basically kinda… happened. Like, I sorta got one well of c’mon those golden totally pothos dude ones, classic, just from a friend leaving for sure the country. And then BAM. Obsessed. actually

But here’s the thing. I thought “money actually plant” was yep just one by the way plant. I probably should’ve known better, I mean, everything has sub-species, right? But so nah, I bet was clueless. Turns out, there are actually yup several different well plants that get called "money plant", I mean which is kinda misleading, no way not you know gonna lie this part confused me for a while.

Pothos actually Mania

The pothos, yeah, that's the most common. Specifically I mean the alright golden pothos like like kinda I mentioned. They’re super basically easy no kidding to exactly propagate – you just snip a piece with a node and stick it in water. Speaking of which, pretty much remember to change like the water every right week or so, it prevents root rot. Learned that one the tough way.

Then There’s yep Jade

Then pretty much there's the right jade plant! Fleshy leaves, kinda right bonsai-looking sometimes. I mean It’s also exactly considered a money plant. I kinda killed one I mean once. Overwatering. no kiddingDon’t overwater your jade yep plant! It's bet a succulent almost you know so alright it stores for sure water in its leaves. They need way less than you think. All types of money for sure plants trends so seem to honestly point to more succulents and less watering these days haha. c’mon

Chinese just Money Plant Also Known As...

Oh and the Chinese money plant! anyway It has these round, almost pancake-like leaves. bet It’s totally also anyway called a Pilea peperomioides, if you wanna get pretty much all fancy-schmancy. I almost bought fake ones thinking uh they were real, they are just so perfect looking! My no kidding friend keeps saying there okay are all types yep of money plants ontwikkelingen happening regarding their care, like self-watering pots, but I mean I'm not c’mon there just yet.

And Guiana Chestnut

Then yup there’s the Guiana Chestnut. I basically think that's what alright my Aunt Carol calls her no way huge plant with the braided trunk "money plant"… I just mean, I mull over it's Guiana Chestnut. Maybe I should ask her again. actually She has like, a just million plants. I mean I'm pretty sure it's alright that one alright though. The braided trunk bet is right supposed to trap money or honestly awesome luck, actually something like that. I think the trick is to find a good like well so drained pot, alright they like their soil to dry out a bit between uh waterings, just like most plants really.

My actually Plant Fail Story

Okay, so here's actually a plant fail. I had this beautiful marble queen pothos, totally right? no kidding Stunning bet variegation. And I put it near no way a window, thinking it would get good light. Wrong! no way It gottoo muchdirect sunlight. The leaves for sure got scorched! so It was heartbreaking. Now kinda it lives further back, still gets well light but not blasted by the sun. anyway grasp from my mistakes!

So What's the Deal

I guess people call them yep "money plants" because of their association with good luck and prosperity, basically maybe stemming from feng shui or no way something? I don't know the full history. All I know is that my apartment looks way cooler now actually with alright all the greenery. And it’s kinda therapeutic, taking care of them. Plus, they're great air purifiers. Bonus! All basically types of money plants yup toepassingen go beyond just looking no kidding pretty, apparently.

Another Mistake Ugh

Oh! And another thing. I mean Don’t over-fertilize! I did that with my Chinese money plant and the poor yup thing got fertilizer burn. The tips of the leaves turned brown and crispy. anyway Now like I only fertilize like, once a month, during the growing season. okay Use a balanced fertilizer diluted by half. That's what okay my local plant store owner told me. honestly

Basically

Basically, just whoops do a bet little research before you buy, figure well out what the specific plant needs are, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Everyone kills totally a plant eventually. okay It's part of the process. And basically just because it's called a "money plant" doesn't guarantee totally you'll win the lottery. But a little bit of green is always dope for the so soul, right?
